Get Sorted Shop

The Waitaki Resource Recovery Park is a Community-owned enterprise run by the Waitaki Resource Recovery Trust established in 2003 with the intention to ‘optimise the amount of material diverted from landfill to beneficial uses through Community ownership of our resource streams’.

We accept a full range of recyclable and resaleable items which are available for purchase in our ‘Get Sorted’ shop.

The Waitaki Resource Recovery Trust is primarily self-funded with supportive funding from the Waitaki District Council.

There’s something for everyone in The ‘Get Sorted’ Resale Shop! Come browse through our ever-changing array of second-hand items or place a bid on something really special in our fortnightly Silent Auction.
Silent Auction
For the more interesting and sought after items in the shop, a Silent Auction with around 20 lots, starts every two weeks and finishes on a Sunday at 3.30pm. Customers are invited to write their bid in a book which is then transferred to the Auction Board.
