Being seen in search results is the first step to attracting more customers from Treasure Hunting. To make sure you're seen as often as possible to the right customers you need to do these things:
Get a great photo of your shop front
Pick the right categories that match the things you mainly sell
Use lots of keywords in your description
Upload an icon or your full logo – it makes the map pin stand out from the rest
Your Listing Page
A listing like this answers all the questions that shoppers want to know before heading to your place. They can research any time of day or night or on the street around the corner looking for your front door. They want to know if you sell what they're looking for? Do you buy or accept donations? Are you open today? Are you still in business? How to contact you? Do you still have that wonderful thing I saw there yesterday? I changed my mind, I must have it, how can I pay and will you post it to me?

Header Photo
The header photo should show the entrance to your shop, not the lovely things inside or your logo. This is treasure hunting after all. When treasure hunters search this directory they imagine where they're going before committing to making the trip. When they see your header image of your shop front they will either recognise it or bank it in their memory to identify it when they arrive later. When you step outside to take this photo, go across the road and make it as wide as you can. Try to line up the important details like sign-writing in the middle third of the photo because the top and bottom will be cropped off on the search results page and even more on your listing page.
